Review:
A delightful story of strong female friendship told through letters. Poppy, Tirzah, and Sophia are all living very different lives post school but they turn to each other time and again as they face the struggles of growing up and finding themselves. The themes - friendship, self discovery, and love - are universal, even though this story takes place in 1897. A lighthearted story with an engaging format! The audio version was extremely well done - each of the girls have a different narrator with unique accents which is absolutely delightful. It is also a great discussion piece to talk about the speed of communication pre-internet and how technology developments would have impacted the story differently had it been set modern day.
