Content Warnings, or things that other School Librarians should be aware of: No Recommended for a school library: Yes Reason(s) for choosing the book: This was another purchase recommended by SLJ. As I looked to expand on my Holiday/Christmas books, this one jumped out to me as it explores different holiday goodies from around the world. If you were tasked by the publisher with writing a short quote for the back cover of this book, what would it be: With a pinch of hope and a dash of vanilla, these bakerinas can make holiday magic happen all around the world.

Review:
This is a story of the Sugar Plum Bakers and their teamwork to bake their final 12 holiday treats to deliver around the world. Each treat requires the fairies to work together and problem solve. Readers are introduced to 12 different holiday treats from around the world - Lebkuchen from Germany, Daifuku mochi from Japan, Brigadeiros from Brazil, etc. This would be a great read aloud during the holidays as an opening to different cultures, foods and traditions. I think kids will love it and be attracted to it based on the cover alone. This would be a great addition to any elementary library.
