Review:
This is the story of Ketanji Brown Jackson and her dreams. Jackson worked herself up from a law clerk to public defender, to a judge. Then, on June 30th, 2022 she was sworn in as the 116th Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court and became the first Black woman to serve on the highest court on the land. This biographical account shares her story growing up and how she achieved such an honor. This is a great story of hard work, perseverance, and resilience. This would be a great read aloud for library time - and a book to showcase year-round, but also during Women's History Month and Black History Month.
