If you were tasked by the publisher with writing a short quote for the back cover of this book, what would it be:

Can Blue, Barry and Pancakes escape Balloonia or are they doomed to live in Kong's world forever?

Review:

I bought this book as kids are really into graphic novels and I'm trying to keep my collection full and up-to-date! The Blue, Barry and Pancakes series is popular and so I purchased the rest of the collection. It is what you would expect - a silly, nonsensical graphic novel of three friends that travel in a balloon to Balloonia and get trapped in a Balloon Kong's stomach. With limited text, students need to also read the images to follow along the storyline. The pictures tell the story even more so than the text. Kids will love it, with silly humor and crazy characters, although it's not really my choice of reading! This is not a book I'd highlight specifically but perhaps as a series share for kids looking for new, engaging, silly, but easy books.
