What if you couldn't remember the one night that has defined the last five years of your life? The night your best friend was murdered, and everyone in your small town - even your parents believed it was you.

Review:
Five years ago, Lucy Chase fled her hometown of Plumpton, Texas, for LA after her best friend, Savvy Harper was found brutally murdered. Savvy was last seen with Lucy leaving a wedding. After Savvy's body was found, The small town of Plumpton believed the worst - Lucy was kidnapped or likey dead too - until Lucy was found walking down the road, covered in blood with no memory of the last days events. After five years - Savvy's murder remains unsolved and while Lucy was never charged with Savvy's murder, Lucy was found guilty in the court of public opinion.
Lucy fled smalltown USA for the big city, where her name was not synonymous with murder - that is, until a true crime podcaster turned his attention on the Savannah Harper case. As the podcast garners traction, so does Lucy. Out of a job and almost out of a boyfriend, Lucy reluctantly returns to Plumpton at the request of her grandmother, for her 80th birthday. As Lucy faces old friends and a community still convinced of her guilt, she finds herself face to face with Ben Owens, the true crime podcaster who turned her life upside down, once again.
Lucy has never been able to remember what happened the night Savvy died, and with Ben stirring up old secrets, she’s forced to confront her darkest fears. As Ben digs deeper, revealing hidden truths and long-buried lies, Lucy is caught between the possibility of clearing her name or facing the truth about what really happened.
