Review:
In the story, Hannah is a high school student who was attending a summer college program. A major event occurs to her best friend and now is currently living at a residential psych institution. She knows her best friend got hurt, feels terrible and was with her when the accident happened. But she is adamant that it was an accident. Hannah is worried about running out of time for her college applications during her senior year of high school and getting into college. While working with her therapist, she is not making much progress until Lucy moves into her room. Lucy has her own issues she is dealing with; an eating disorder. She starts befriending her, and making plans to help Lucy breakout to get to her dance audition. In making these plans, the major secret she is keeping is slowly coming to the surface. Was it really an accident? Who is hiding a secret? The ending will surprise you and is not what you will think.
I would recommend this book to a highschooler who likes thrillers and books that get inside the head of the main character. Once I was pulled into the book, I finished it quite quickly. This book was not my favorite. It took a good 50-75 pages to get pulled into this story.
