Anti-Racism and Diversity Resources

We are working to pull together a LibGuide on this topic that will include booklists, articles and other information.  It will be a bit of a work in process, and as soon as it is ready to go public it will be found at  In the meantime, there are a couple of timely events that we want you to be aware of and to share as appropriate. 

  • This evening (June 4th), the KidLit Community will host a Rally for Black Lives.  The event will take place on Facebook Live @THEBROWNBOOKSHELF.  See the graphic below for more information.



InterLibrary Loan

If you have ILL books from other schools please hold onto them until the Fall.  Our Monroe One BOCES couriers are not running a normal schedule at this time, and we want to minimize the chances of ILL materials getting lost in transit or over the summer months.  I am unsure when ILL will resume regionally.  I would NOT plan on this service to be available when/however we restart in September.  I’ll provide more information as I learn it.
