The theme of this guide is directly related to the Media Literacy Week 2020 Website and much of the information is a direct reference. We have added resources from Project Look Sharp, SHEG, NewseumEd, iCivics.org, the Pew Research Center, Julie Smith, Jennifer LaGarde and many other sources, and reorganized the information contained within to make it more user friendly for teachers and librarians.

U.S. Media Literacy Week is the celebration of Media Literacy across the United States, held in conjunction with UNESCO’s Global Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Week. Media Literacy Week is hosted by the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE).
