Get a Public Library Card

Students can get a Monroe County Public Library card by filling out this form. Your card will be delivered at school! You can use it to check out ebooks and audiobooks using SORA, access digital databases, and check out books when at Brighton Memorial Library or any Monroe County Library branch.

We Need Diverse Books is a site that celebrates diversity in literature and provides links to diverse recommendation blogs and titles.

We encourage families to take an active role in helping teens choose books that are a good match for their interest and maturity levels.
