Course Description

This course involves the study of the basics of human anatomy and physiology, including anatomical terminology, basic biochemistry, cells and tissues, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic/immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. In addition it presents an introduction to common human disease processes. This course is designed for upper level students interested in medicine, sports therapy, and physical therapy.
