This is from the same group that runs ChatGPT. Currently there is a free version but you need to make an account (just like ChatGPT, there is a paid version and will probably continue to evolve).

Playground is free as of this post!
Midjourney
This one is VERY popular! Mostly paid, but sometimes has promotions and free trials. Used to be free and future versions may have both free and paid accounts. Need to create an account.
Fotor
Free to try. Additional AI generated images can be purchased with credits (current pricing is 200 credits, which are good for one image, for $2.99).
Craiyon
Image quality is not as good as tools like Midjourney. Currently free and no account required!
Scribble Diffusion
This is fun for kids to try! You start by drawing your own sketch and ask AI to turn it into a finished image. Currently free and no log in required.

The images for this pizza commercial were generated from Midjourney and animated with Runway Gen2. Even the script was written by an AI — ChatGPT.
